Abstract
The publication represents a certain novelty, striving for an innovative approach in looking at the issue of artificial intelligence in the context of the Christian worldview and the ethical consequences of the limits and risks that this attractive area of the modern technological world is currently dealing with: an interdisciplinary grasp of the phenomenon of artificial intelligence, a rigorous analysis of the limits and risk and the ethical conclusions arising from it, the proposal of the basic structure of general and specific ethical principles and rules, the expression of arguable factors and some perspectives of general artificial intelligence moving towards superintelligence, and the justification of a clear position on its comparison with a human being - all this constitutes a contribution to the ongoing global ethical discourse, which is gaining in importance the more artificial intelligence technologies are developed and their sophisticated implementations are massively introduced into real life, thus affecting the lives of millions of people.
The publication is based on the author's doctoral dissertation, Ethical Issues and Moral Aspects of Current Artificial Intelligence Systems, while the original text has been adapted and substantially expanded to include additional research in the field of general artificial intelligence.
The book was written by the author himself. No part of this work was generated by a machine based algorithm:-)
The author is currently preparing a second, expanded edition of this publication...
